The story begins in the year 2006 with a viral news report that went around the world in a few days, and which to this day there remain people who are searching for a logical explanation. In the Big Apple, New York City, the authorities are worried about a rumor that there is a man who visits the dreams of its citizens. Tristen, an extraordinarily intelligent man in his early 20s, lives a boring life, lacking in challenges, and is completely desensitized from playing video games and watching graphic violence in the media. Tristen thinks that nothing can surprise him, until he begins a forced and dark path into the world of the occult and the forbidden, an unfriendly and unorthodox world where power and security are at risk.

After the death under strange circumstances of a beautiful up-and-coming model, Tristen becomes the number one object of the attention of an experienced psychiatrist, Dr. Horacio Vansuitten, who is in charge of paranormal investigations of a secret government branch. The doctor does not hesitate to use methods that are completely on the margin of the law in order to realize his investigations concerning things that are completely beyond the explainable. Young Tristen is strengthened through the torturous journey with the hope of seeing his beloved Sarah, a young psychiatrist who participates in the investigation, and with whom he falls in love. Through unexpected turns, the story becomes more compelling, taking Tristen into a dark and dangerous world. Tristen finds many allies along the way, who help him stay safe and give him hope to continue.
